Integrated reporting and its impact on financial transparency: A pathway to enhanced corporate accountability

Integrated Reporting (IR) has emerged as a comprehensive framework that enhances financial transparency and corporate accountability by integrating financial and non-financial information. This study explores the impact of IR on financial transparency, emphasizing its role in improving corporate disclosure, stakeholder trust, and long-term value creation. Traditional financial reporting primarily focuses on quantitative financial metrics, often neglecting qualitative factors such as environmental, social, and governance (ESG) considerations.
